About the Artist
Christine Brunette
My name is Chris Brunette, and I am originally from Wallingford, CT, which is where I met Ron, my husband of 45 years. We moved to North Port, FL in 1992, and have loved living here. We have traveled much throughout the world and we especially love islands and the sea. Our travels and our love for God and His creation have given much inspiration for my artwork. I was always interested in art, even at a very young age. I studied art at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. Mostly I've worked with pen and ink and with graphite drawing over the years. More recently I worked with pastels which was the perfect transition from drawing to painting. Presently, I am really loving painting in oils, and most recently am enjoying the freedom of acrylic painting in the form of mixed media and fluid art. Hope you enjoy my work!
